The 18th West Lothian (West Calder) Scout Group meet at the West Kirk Church Hall and Community Garden throughout the year. We are a registered charity, with a membership of over 60 children and young people and adult volunteers.

In 2025 we applied to the National Lottery Community Fund for our West Calder : A Year in the Life project.

During 2026 our young members will be photographing and interviewing people about life in the village. Towards the end of the year they will publish a ‘zine’ and a book.
